Aloha.
My name is Pe'a.  I raced bmx from '80 'til '83.  This pic is from Kauai, '83 I think.  Mr. and Mrs. Higa took a bunch of us kids from Honolulu over for that race.  I remember Chang (Kuwahara national team at the time, I think?), Kevin Lau, Andy Shohara, Dave Uemura and a few others were in our group.
Sorry about the bad quality pic.  It was enlarged and framed, so it's a picture of a picture.  In the background you can see Ken Van Orman and Dave Uemura in the gate.
