South Pacific Nationals 1979.

1980 NBA South pacific Nationals.  1st photo of kid sitting on his bike is Local Hero Rockne Tang who Beat Eddy King in the final.  Second pic is of John Llacuna and Moki Fernandez.  They both raced for The Great Outdoors.

I lived near Triangle Park in Palolo valley until 1981.. i also jumped at P3 park and Cannons .. i'll upload some classic pics another time..

Whats up! Finally someone posts! I was about to give up already. Saw your pic on Vintage. Nice pic! Looking forward to seeing some pics. Got some of Triangles P3 or Cannons club? How's life treating you? I'm trying to get in touch with Rockne. Let me know if you have any info.

I ran out of space on Vintage, got quite a few fairly rad pics from back in the day.. includes Cannons (top and bottom jumps), Hickam, Makiki and Pearl City.. I haven't heard from the Rock&Roll brothers since 1981.. that would be both Rockne and Rolland. Life is good, I work in computer networking for a corporate law firm. Whats up with you?

I have pics of other guys too like Jeff Kang, Mark Miyashiro, Daniel Lee, Barry Nobriga (surfer now) and Michael Tyau.. remember any of those guys? I moved to Arizona in 1981 and came back in 86. Some of the guys like Kev Lau, Walter, Pumpkin and others were doing freestyle on the ground when I came back. By then i retired from BMX and started mountain biking. I now do road racing. I'm a member of Tradewinds Cycling team, Bike Shop on King. Faye Saiki is head.
